Like many business legends, it all started in an iconic tavern in the San Zeno district of Verona: the goal has always been to disseminate in a professional manner, aiming to overcome traditional academic boundaries to bring archaeological culture to ordinary people.
Archeonaute is an organisation born in 2010 in Verona, the result of the idea of four archaeologists who proposed to making archaeology accessible and appreciable to an increasingly wider and more varied audience.
Over the years, Archeonaute has seen significant expansion in Verona and the Italian territory, counting today on a team of about ten members specialized in archaeology, art history and cultural tourism. The association has established itself as a point of reference in Verona for the enhancement and dissemination of archaeological heritage.
Archeonaute's activities include the management of archaeological areas in Verona, archaeological education in schools, organization of trips, exhibitions and cultural events throughout Italy, in addition to collaborations with museums and local institutions. They also offer training courses for archaeologists, collaborate with newspapers and participate in television programs to promote archaeology. The main objective of Archeonaute is the desire to trasmettere And communicate the great cultural and historical value that archaeological assets represent for humanity.

Annarosa Tricomi, archaeologist. Struck by lightning during a high school trip to the archaeological museums in Berlin, she decided to start with archaeology and never stop, especially after she began to try her hand at archaeological excavations of some wonderful sites in Verona and beyond in 2004. With a degree and a doctorate in Roman archaeology, from numismatics to loom weights, she doesn't despise anything, but today the Association represents her main work commitment.
A lover of animals and the sea, she divides her time between Archeonaute events, guided tours, archaeological trips and her two little girls, for whom she dreams of a future as Indiana Jones.

Annarosa Tricomi, archaeologist. Morena Tramonti
Morena Tramonti, archaeologist. She understands that her path is archaeology when in the early 2000s she finds herself with a pickaxe and shovel in the archaeological sites of Verona, tired but happy. She obtains a master's degree in Medieval Archaeology and specializes with a master's degree.
She is a real volcano of ideas and with her inseparable Vespa she reaches any goal she sets herself. Her passion for social archaeology and for valorization makes her an incomparable communicator who, scientifically impeccable, knows how to make any ancient stone nice and pleasant!

Maria Rita Bertoncini
Maria Rita Bertoncini, archaeologist. Back in 2003 she chose the degree course in Archaeology at the University of Padua, already dreaming of distant destinations and memorable adventures. The dreams then lose their impalpable essence and transform into excavated land, but her desire to explore does not run out.
He obtained a master's degree in Roman archaeology and then threw himself into the conquest of the City where he worked as a licensed tourist guide. It was from Rome that he began planning his first archaeological trips, which by now are fully included among the most consolidated and specialized activities of Archeonaut.
Today, having returned permanently to the Verona base, she takes care of guided tours, archaeological trips and the management of the Association.
