Through the evocative underground pathways of the historic centre, we will discover its roots deep in Greco-Roman antiquity: from the excavations of San Lorenzo Maggiore and Santa Chiara, to the Hellenistic hypogeum of the Cristallini, and the incredible early Christian catacombs of San Gennaro and San Gaudioso.

Above ground, the decumani (ancient streets) of the historic city—now iconic landmarks of the centre like Spaccanapoli and Via dei Tribunali—speak of a present that lives side-by-side with history, in a tapestry of sounds, colours, and memories. Here, the most authentic face of Naples reveals itself among vibrant alleyways and timeless squares.

The city’s story continues on the hills, where medieval fortresses watch over the gulf, and the Certosa di San Martino, with its treasure trove of Baroque art, offers the eye one of the most breathtaking views in the Mediterranean.

This archaeological journey offers a truly rare opportunity to experience Rome from unusual and privileged perspectives.

The itinerary opens with exclusive experiences private to our group, such as an extraordinary visit to the Necropolis of the Via Triumphalis inside the Vatican—a deeply evocative site that is usually closed to the general public—and a special opening of the Nymphaeum of the Annibaldi, an authentic hidden treasure of ancient Rome. Alongside these unique visits, we will discover the Forma Urbis Museum, which opened in 2024, housing essential artifacts for understanding the organization, topography, and evolution of the ancient city.

Our journey continues with walking itineraries through Rome’s urban stratifications, where ancient monuments, fragments, and layouts emerge within the contemporary city fabric, helping us read and interpret its archaeological landscape. To complete the experience, we will explore the major themes of Mediterranean history through the two most important exhibitions of the Roman season: Rome and Greece, which narrates the profound dialogue between two founding civilisations, and Treasures of the Pharaohs, an immersive look into the world of ancient Egypt.

An itinerary designed for those who wish to understand Rome by walking its streets, observing its details, and listening to the many stories it still guards beneath its surface.

There is a stretch of coastline where time seems to have stood still, a strip of Campanian land where the Mediterranean light caresses millennia of history.

Our journey is not a simple excursion, but an immersion into the beauty and the very roots of our civilisation, starting from the splendours of Salerno to venture into the ancient heart of the Sele Plain and Cilento.

The path begins among the artifacts of Pontecagnano, the ancient Etruscan outpost, only to reveal itself in all its majesty before the Doric columns of Paestum. Here, where the temples stand tall against the blue sky, we will breathe in the sacred air of the Sanctuary of Hera, before letting ourselves be enchanted by the philosophical rigour of Elea-Velia—the city of Parmenides and Zeno, where Western thought took its first steps amidst cyclopean walls and breathtaking sea views.

Furthermore, our itinerary will amaze us with the mystical silence of the Certosa of Padula, a Baroque masterpiece of monumental proportions, before concluding in the pulsing heart of Salerno, among the solemn aisles of its Cathedral and the precious treasures of the Diocesan Museum.

Four days of discovery, unforgettable vistas, and authentic flavours: an invitation to slow down, observe, and let yourself be marvelled by the narrative of History.

The journey winds through the heart of the Caserta territory like an ancient tale coming back to life, following in the footsteps of Spartacus and his companions along roads steeped in memory.

From the remains of ancient Capua in Santa Maria Capua Vetere to the monumental silences of the Roman sites of Alife, the past emerges among stones, amphitheatres, and museums that tell the stories of gladiators and the communities that once inhabited these lands.

The constant guidance of an expert archaeologist transforms every stop into a vivid and accessible narrative. In this way, we reach the Abbey of Sant’Angelo in Formis—suspended between the sacred and the pagan, built upon an ancient place of worship—and then the medieval fortresses and hamlets, standing as sentinels of centuries of layered history.

In Caserta, the journey culminates in the splendour of the Royal Palace of Caserta, with its spectacular gardens, and the Real Borgo of San Leucio, an extraordinary Bourbon utopia of architecture and social ingenuity.

This is an itinerary that weaves together history, landscape, and culture, where every site dialogues with the next, and every story finds continuity in the present—inviting you to discover the deep allure of a territory that has never ceased to speak.

Two days to let yourself be enchanted by the allure of the Roman cities of the Northeast, amidst buried remains and early Christian splendours.

On Saturday in Aquileia, an ancient and powerful Roman colony, we will walk the paths of the vast archaeological site and admire the mosaics, statues, and artifacts in the museum—living testimonies of a hub that was once a crossroads of peoples and cultures. The emotion culminates in the Basilica, one of the most extraordinary monuments of early Christian art, with its mosaic floor that has captivated visitors for centuries.

On Sunday, we will reach Grado, an elegant island nestled between the sea and history. The historic centre still preserves the layout of the ancient Roman castrum and is home to fascinating early Christian basilicas, rich in mosaics and atmosphere. We will also visit the National Museum of Underwater Archaeology of the Upper Adriatic, which tells the story of the deep-rooted ties between this land and the sea.

The journey will conclude in the afternoon with our return to Verona.
